3rd Annual Pride Pickleball 🏳️🌈 Join us August 23rd!
First Timers
First Timers invited by an RBD Core or Drop-in player are welcome! Get more information about attending as a first time guest in the First Timer Signup.
Drop-In players (referred to as "Spares" in the Bench App)
Drop-in players have attended at least once as a First Timer and have been invited to join via the Bench App. Drop-ins are able to attend games if space is availalbe and pay the drop-in fee each week they play. See additional notes on how to RSVP to a game below.
Each season, sign ups will open up for Core Membership, with returning core members having priority access to renew. There will be a limit to the number of core memberships available to ensure all core members can play. If you would like to sign up as a core member mid-season, check with the Leadership Team for availability of spots. If a spot is available, fees will be pro-rated for the remaining games of the season.
Use the Bench App to confirm your attendance to each session!
If you are a core member, please ensure your attendance is up-to-date at least 3 days before the game. If your availability changes and you are no longer able to attend, please update the Bench App as soon as possible to free up a space for drop-ins or first timers on the waitlist.
Drop-in players can add themselves to the waitlist one week before the next game. For example, if the next game is on a Saturday at 9am, then drop-in players can join the waitlist as of 9am the week before. Drop-in registrations are confirmed ~2 days before a game.
If you are bringing a First Timer, please add a note in your RSVP. For a more detailed overview, please visit our Bench App info page. Please ensure your guest has completed the First Timer Signup.
We have nets and balls, along with spare paddles and safety goggles to share with first time players. Core members and spare players are expected to bring their own paddle and eye protection. Court shoes or tennis shoes are recommended for all players - running shoes are not designed for lateral movement and can increase the risk of ankle injury. All players are expected to wear protective eyewear at all times. You should also bring a water bottle, and snacks if desired!
